Written for and performed Orkest de Ereprijs, as part of Apeldoorn Young Composers Meeting 2020. The text is taken from an 8-bit recording of me speaking as a small child, which is heard in the opening.
if bells could weep
6 minutes for Violin & Viola (2023/24)
Performed by Evie Hilyer-Ziegler and Anne Han in 2024. Released by Sawyer Editions on a portrait disc of my chamber work, with love. This is the second of two movements, both of which are included in the score below as the collective if bells could speak.
If bells could speak was originally written for Darragh Morgan and Mary Dullea (violin & piano). Its creation was generously supported by a Britten-Pears Artistic Retreat in Imogen Holst’s house. It was performed at Cafe OTO in 2023.

15 minutes for violin & piano (2019)
Written for Music We’d Like to Hear in 2019, performed by Mira Benjamin and Philip Thomas. In 2020, kindly, softly was nominated for an Ivor Composer Award in the solo and duo category.
